Martha graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with degrees in Public Policy and Management Science. After five tax seasons with Ernst & Young and a short partnership with a local CPA firm, she founded McMurry & Company, PC in 1983. Martha’s areas of interest include structuring business entities and transactions, business tax planning and preparation, and complex financial reporting issues. Footnotes and financial statements that she has drafted for clients have been selected for inclusion in PPC’s Guide to Preparing Financial Statements Trends volume on ten occasions. She is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA.
